Klosterneuburg – Höhenstrasse – winery or panoramic cafe

Our excursion fist leads us to Klosterneuburg with the augustinian abbey, which has recently been beautifully revitalised.

We see the church, the cloister and the famous Verdunar altar and hear some interesting information about the abbey.

Subsequent, we drive through the Vienna Woods up to the „Höhenstrasse“, from where we have a fantastic panoramic view over Vienna and the Danube.

Afterwards we can drive to the famous wine region „Neustift am Walde“ where we enjoy a stroll through the vineyard followed by a wine tasting & traditional

snacks at a typical „Heurigen“.

Optionally we can go for a coffee break in a panoramic cafe at the  „Höhenstrasse“ - enjoying the impressive view over Vienna.

On our way back to Vienna we pass vineyards and typical Heurigen villages.
